During my travels I have experienced first-hand the negative and positive changes to our planet. The Climate Emergency has now of course become a major challenge and I believe the Green Party is the best suited to tackle this.

As the owner of a small business, I have first-hand knowledge of the difficulties small business face in this country. Over the last few decades changes to the tax and especially the banking system, helped by successive governments, means corporations have now a massive advantage over small to medium size businesses. Instead of lowering corporation taxes for businesses, which mainly helps big corporations with massive profits, an easier access to funds and fairer taxation would be much more beneficial too small and medium size businesses.

Our public services are in decline. I will fight for MORE funding for the NHS following the Green Party proposal to increase funding for the NHS by £30bn by 2030. Increased NHS funding would mean that NHS frontline workers’ salaries increase, ensure rapid GP access, provide same-day urgent care and GUARANTEE everyone a dentist through the NHS.

Both Labour and Tories are engaged in a conspiracy of silence when it comes to finding solutions to alleviate our basic needs and are refusing to be honest about the real challenges facing us in the future.
