Sheelagh is Derbyshire Dales born and bred. Her professional background is in education, leading the English Faculty in a large secondary school. Now retired from teaching, she lives in Tideswell. An experienced campaigner, Sheelagh works hard to help residents and small businesses reduce their energy bills. She has worked in a team to ensure residents have a warm welcome space to visit during the cold winter months. Sheelagh is keen to keep local villages thriving places to live and work. She has helped to campaign for better bus services and assisted with community surveys on industrial pollution.
