Statement to voters

John is a retired Engineering Manager, with an interest in energy saving and generation.

Full statement

He flew in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve in the 1970's and became Press Officer for Ex-Services CND in the 1980's. On retiring after a worldwide career in the oil and gas business he found that the Green Party was the only political party whose values he shared, and he is now working hard for a fairer and greener country - though he realises that it is unlikely that he will have enough time to make his life carbon-neutral! He is married with two grown-up children and four grandchildren, and wants them to live in a world free from climate change, and the risk of accidental nuclear war.
