The last 12 years have been in Longney. I have been a Longney and Epney Parish Councillor for the 14 months. I am an active member of our community. My professional life is working alongside the NHS and private sectors which has given me a good insight to local healthcare needs. It also makes me naturally sympathetic to the needs of local villages, and our county with an aging population. As a local I understand that rural services are not geared up for young families.

I have a good understanding of what makes small villages tick, this in turn will help me support our rural district. I am keen to continue to contribute to helping support parishioners in a more strategic way.

I hope to make a difference to our local community, focusing on health and welfare of the elderly and the young.

I would like to work towards ensuring there are better transport and access solutions for all residents including school buses for children.

I’m committed to supporting diversity in the rural settings ensuring we reflect the communities that we live in and use the local knowledge to make a difference to the lives of residents.
