A life long weetsladers living in Wideopen and Hazlerigg my whole life as well as being educated in greenfields and (the former) Seaton burn college.

Within the council, not only do I sit on the full council meetings, I chair the finance scrutiny committee ensuring your council tax pounds are spent appropriately, and those who should be getting support are getting it, I also sit on the councils investment programme board ensuring that weetslade gets investment into its parks, roads and pavements.

I also work for Openreach where I have undertaken roles such as being a finance manager and systems engineer which gives me great skills to help transform the council in both cost reduction and doing things differently to drive better and quicker results.

Should I be re-elected;
- I will continue to fight for getting the best deal for weetslade by seeking improvements are paid for by developers rather that council tax payers where we can.
- continue to raise the priorities of our worst footpaths to get replaced within the councils £2m improvement scheme which has doubled during labour control.
- Do everything I can to make sure Weetslade is a great place to live , work and visit.
