Statement to voters
It’s a privilege to be selected as Labour’s candidate for the by-election for Manor ward on Thursday, 13 February.

I have lived in Stevenage since I was a toddler. I attended primary and secondary schools in Chells, and played in local Chells Manor parks during my youth.
Having lived and worked for many years in Stevenage, I feel a strong connection to the local area and the issues that many of us face.
I want to be a strong advocate for residents, whether that’s holding regular advice surgeries, ensuring people can access the services they need or pushing for improvements to the local area.
I also want to be proactive in working with our MP, county council and borough council to find common ground and bring about the changes local residents want to see
