Statement to voters
Camden has been my home for 32 years.

I've cherished bringing up my family here because of the strong sense of community.
As a local secondary school teacher for 18 years, I've seen the hope that students have - and the challenges they face. School funding, youth services and healthcare have been cut to the bone by years of austerity. I run a tuition centre in Camden that I set up nearly a decade ago. I was also on the District Management Committee and set up a Tenants and Residents Association.
My Pledges
• Rent caps, more affordable, well-insulated homes, no more delays on housing repairs.
• Increased funding for schools, youth and mental health services, the NHS and libraries.
• Eradicating knife and gang crime, and tackling all forms of racism, including Islamophobia.
• Divest Council funds from companies profiting from genocide in Palestine.
• Divest Council funds from fossil fuel companies, and reinvest in green industries and businesses to make Camden greener for all.
