Statement to voters
Born into a large Irish family, Mike is long-term resident of over 39 years in Northampton, and has lived in Kingsthorpe for 35 years.

He followed his late father into the Rail Industry, he worked in Historical Records, and then Facilities Management for many years before retirement 10 years ago. Mike got involved in local politics in Northampton in 2010, campaigning in the general election that year.
Mike serves as a trustee on the Kingsthorpe Manor Trust who support via grants local organisations that work with people in need and other good causes.
He was elected as a Parish Councillor, representing the Obelisk ward for the past 4 years on Kingsthorpe Parish Council, at present he is Vice Chair of the Council, and Chair of the Finance, Planning, and Grants Committees.
In his free time he loves to travel, and also a keen genealogist. Mike is a lifelong Liverpool supporter as well as supporting Northampton town, and also a very keen follower of Snooker.
