I have lived in Aylesbury my whole life, went to school locally and have worked nearby. As someone who has studied town planning and worked in the planning policy department of the Bucks Council, I know how much we need to improve development quality and public services in our community.

As your candidate, my four main priorities will be:
1. Ensure all public streets and open spaces in the ward are fully adopted by the council as soon as possible to help solve all maintenance, parking and waste disposal issues.
2. Improve bus service reliability, including the establishment of a Sunday service and an inter-suburban bus route.
3. Promote investment and development of new local employment opportunities in the area to help improve the local economy.
4. Ensure all proposed development doesn't negatively impact local wildlife and water drainage systems.
5. Crack down on illegal littering and fly-tipping, particularly in public spaces and in the River Thame.
6. Ensure the council helps provide affordable and social housing to help tackle the cost of living crisis.
7. Improve cycle network and foot networks linking our ward to the town centre.

If you want a stronger local economy, better public services, an end to fly-tipping and genuinely affordable housing, vote Labour on 1st May.
