I have been in Hazlemere for nearly 30 years and I have previously served twice on Hazlemere Parish Council, before leaving to take care of my parents in the twilight of their lives.

I have just been elected unopposed to return to Hazlemere Parish Council once again.

My family and myself have used the local services & facilities – the shops, schools, doctors, libraries and roads. Over those years I have seen and experienced the same as you have – appointments at the doctors becoming harder to get, roads becoming more congested due to increased traffic, Green Belt Land used for more and more houses and the state of the roads declining markedly over that time, with potholes seemingly everywhere! Add to that the roads at Cosy Corner and by the bus stop & shops on Rose Avenue flooding every time we have heavy rain, it’s clear that Hazlemere has numerous issues and some specific needs that the council has failed to address for many years!

As I live among you, I can see what you see and I experience what you experience. If I am elected, I will be your voice and will work with my fellow Hazlemere Councillor at Buckinghamshire Council to try to rectify those issues and improve daily life for all of us.

Churchill said that “the further you look back, the further forward you are likely to see! You can see for yourselves what the current councillors have (or have not) done for this village over many years, so you know exactly what you will get in the future if you elect the same old people!
