Statement to voters
As a teacher, I take a keen interest in education policy and provision for young people and families in our town.

I am also passionate about improving our local NHS offer, especially mental health services. I believe that wellbeing should be at the heart of all that we do in this beautiful county, and we all have the right to access well-maintained green spaces as well as healthy food and clean air and water, free from pollution.
Lancashire County Council is dominated by the two main parties. If elected as your Green councillor, I will be an advocate for you, and use my experience as an activist to push for a fairer and greener Chorley. As a grass roots party, we believe in listening to the wishes and needs of our residents, and unlike the other big parties, our candidates are free to vote with their conscience and to fully represent constituents’ views when making decisions which affect them. Along with our dedicated team of local volunteers, I will continue to work hard for our community all year round, not just at election time.
So I hope you will consider voting for me on the 1st May – every Green Party voice on our County Council means we can make a real difference to the old ‘business as usual’ in Lancashire.
