Statement to voters
I was brought up on Plessey Road.
Full statement
At the age of 17 moved into the centre of Blyth. I rode motorcycles for many years and had two years racing in Motocross around the Country. I worked local in my first job at the Harbour Commission offices on Plessey Rd. Then a Plasterer working with my late Father and self employed, for many years. I became a Foster carer over the years and looked after 28 children over a 10 year span.
Some children from other parts of the world, some difficult ones also that were on remand from the Courts. Challenging yes. And dealing with the Police, Teachers, social Workers and the judiciary.
Many meetings have been attended with the above. And also working with the Parents and Doctors.
I and my Wife were voted in as Councillor's back in 2014. I want to give the Town of Blyth and indeed Northumberland, lots of my spare time. This Town and the People in it I love very much. Let's make Blyth Great Again.
Thank you.
➡️ David.
