Statement to voters

Denise has lived and worked in Maidstone all her life, and has been actively part of the community in the High Street ward for over 40 years.

As well as the community, the family is also important to Denise who is married with two children and four grandchildren.

Denise became a councillor to engage further with the local community and be a voice for their priorities.

Housing, the environment, transport and offering to help residents are all issues Denise is regularly involved in to represent her community.

She is currently chairman of the Licensing committee and also a member of the Communities, Housing and Environment committee and Democracy and General Purposes Committee.

She is also appointed through the Borough council to serve as a Trustee on the Cutbush and Corall charity and on the management committee of Maidstone Street Pastors.

She states:

"I believe building strong relationships with local people is paramount to improve the quality of life and safety of residents."
