I have represented Caversham Ward on Reading Borough Council for 10 years and during that time I have done my best to work hard for the people I represent, solving local issues like parking and planning and supporting public services like Caversham Library and Children's Centre.

I am now hoping to be elected in the new Thames Ward and together with my fellow Labour candidates will work to delivery Reading Labour's manifesto across the town and our priorities in our local area which are: Supporting residents through the cost of living crisis Getting more sustainable transport opportunities like cycling and walking to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality. To ensure the planned residential developments in the area work for local people, achieving as much developer funding as possible to deliver improvements to the local area.
