Statement to voters
I have lived and worked in Buckinghamshire for 25 years.
Full statement
In 2020 I became an elected Green Party councillor for Buckinghamshire Unitary Authority. I work in the Criminal Justice sector, currently as a self-employed consultant. I am committed to local communities, local business and good quality local services. If elected I will continue to challenge the central government attack on local democracy. The NHS, social care and education needs to be properly funded with staff paid appropriately. Climate change requires local action to achieve global change. Addressing the climate and biodiversity crisis is a vital thread that runs through all policy areas and every aspect of our lives. Without focus and determination we are simply passing on a much bigger problem to future generations.
