Pat is a linguist, translator and writer, who joined the Green Party over a decade ago.

As Secretary of East Kent Against Fracking, she organised the successful campaign to reject the drilling of exploratory boreholes in the old Kent coalfields. As Chair of Canterbury District Green Party and Secretary of Kent Greens, she has led and taken part in many other campaigns on environmental and social issues.
She has lived in Wye for three years now and is a parish councillor on Wye with Hinxhill Parish Council, focussing on projects to install electric charging points, plant trees and explore a community energy scheme for the area.
