Statement to voters

Phillip Duigan continues to work hard for the residents of South Dereham including Toftwood as County Councillor and Dereham Town Councillor.

Phillip has lived all his life in the Washbridge part of Scanning adjacent to Dereham. He attended Swaffham Convent, Beeston Hall, King's Ely Schools and Norwich City College. Subsequently he obtained an Open University Degree and a Masters Degree in History at the UEA. He worked as a civilian at RAF Swanton Morley for much of the time in the Education Centre.

Phillip is on the Scrutiny Committee and Norfolk Records Committee. He has promoted local highways improvements new signage, bus shelters, improved footpaths, and traffic calming g measures. He has campaigned for improved flood prevention measures for Dereham. He supports the County Councils commitment to excellent Museums and libraries.

Phillip is a member of the Dereham Heritage Trust and Dereham Articulate Speakers, and supports the work of The Royal British Legion.
