Bill lives in Blackpool and is married with a large family covering four generations who all live locally. He worked as an IT professional, on insurance and government projects until retirement as a Project Risk Manager. He is currently studying for a Physics degree.
Politically, Bill has been an active Liberal / Liberal Democrat supporter since 1974, including 15 years as a local Councillor and is currently the Chair of Blackpool Liberal Democrats. Bill first stood as a Candidate for the Parliamentary seat of Blackpool North in 2010. He then stood for the Blackpool South Parliamentary constituency in the 2015, 2017 & 2019 General Elections, whilst also contesting for the Stanley Ward in local elections.
