Statement to voters

Sarah Jones has been the MP for Croydon Central since 2017.

Before entering Parliament she had a long career in the public, private and voluntary sector. As a senior civil servant, she was part of the winning team that delivered the London Olypmics in 2012.



Sarah set up the All Party Parliamentary Group on knfe crime and sucessfully campaigned for a range of policy changes and funding to tackle the causes of knife crime.



She is a lifelong Croydon resident and proud to stand up for her hometown in parliament, while also helping residents with whatever issues they may be facing.



She has been the Shadow Minister for Industry and Decarbonisation since 2023, previously serving as the Shadow Minister for Policing.
