As a research consultant, my clients include the Greater London Authority and City Bridge Trust (the charitable arm of the Corporation of London). I believe in the City as a force for good – promoting the capital, recovering from the pandemic, creating opportunity for all and tackling social inequality. I have considerable experience of local government, both working for different London Boroughs and as a former elected Tower Hamlets’ Councillor (2002-6). Representing Bethnal Green, I led the campaign to save the famous York Hall boxing venue for the community. I remain involved in the area, as Governor and Chair of Finances of a state primary school and as Non-Executive Director of Bikeworks CIC, an award-winning social enterprise. I am pleased to be standing with the Castle Baynard Independents. If elected, I will work with the Team to ensure the Ward remains an attractive, healthy and safe place to live, work and visit, and that your voice is heard by the City of London Corporation.
