Statement to voters

For twenty years, I've been campaigning for a more healthy environment, a kinder society where people treat each other with respect and public services that won't let us down.

Full statement

It's a huge honour to be working to secure that better future here - with the backing of the whole Labour party - in the new Bicester and Woodstock constituency which includes Kidlington and Eynsham and so many other beautiful villages that I've known and loved all my life.

As a professional campaigner and leader for charities like Save the Children, and as former elected Councillor, I know how to stand up for people and work together with them to make change. I know how to influence policy and have won changes to the law. I can hit the ground running in Parliament.

As a mum of young kids, a carer for my late mother, and the partner of someone who runs a small business in the constituency, I know what it feels like to be juggling many challenges at once.

Everyone's challenges are different but we all deserve a stable economy run by grown-ups; quality, reliable public services and political representation by someone who listens and is ambitious on our behalf. That's the MP I want to be for you.
