Statement to voters

I'm honoured to have been selected by Newcastle upon Tyne Green Party as the candidate for Chapel Ward in the local elections on Thursday 5th May.

Full statement

The West End of Newcastle desperately needs more funding, more local employment opportunities, and an end to the car-dependent new housing schemes that are destroying our greenbelt and locking in damaging carbon emissions for years to come.

The Green party are standing candidates all over the city in these elections, so that we can show the council how passionate our electorate is about tackling the climate emergency, protecting our environment, and investing in a future that puts the health and wellbeing of all residents of Newcastle at the top of the agenda. At the last local elections, we secured almost 10% of all the votes cast across the city and we expect to improve on that - please add your vote and your voice to our movement so that together we can push for real change in Newcastle.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
