We are proud to introduce Paul Tansom as the Liberal Democrats campaigner for our area.

He has lived in Purbrook all his life, and knows the area very well. He loves sailing, and contributes to this sport as Secretary of the Portsmouth & Langstone Sailing Assn, and is their representative on the Langstone Harbour Board, helping to keep the Harbour safe and conserve the natural environment.

As a keen supporter of Repair, Reuse and Recycle, Paul also volunteers at the monthly Repair Café Havant, helping residents restore their precious possessions.

Paul continues to live with his family in Purbrook, after becoming established in a career in IT. Paul volunteered to be a Governor of both Morelands Primary School and Purbrook Park School. He is passionate about giving our children the best possible start in life. Sadly, Paul’s Dad is now in need of care, and Paul is his primary carer, experiencing the many challenges in the damaged Social Care system that many are also facing.

Paul says: “I have always used my skills to help my community, and know our area needs stronger voices here all year round to really get results.
