I live in St Mary's Bay and am a former legal advisor with Citizens Advice. Because ours is a community that faces challenges with poor planning , lack of infrastructure and inadequate services, we need to restore the voice of Romney Marsh in Folkestone as we strive to make the Marsh a pleasant place to live, work and visit. Get the basics right. Enforce better infrastructure and rules relating to breaches in planning. Object to any development in the absence of genuinely affordable housing for locals and proper infrastructure such as health, education, transport, sewage and water Work to secure future funding for small businesses and start ups. Improved in-person access to council services across the Marsh. Improve street cleaning, replace broken street signs, increase dog bins, and renew flower, shrub and tree planting schemes across the Marsh. A vote for me will secure a voice for Marsh in Folkestone by ensuring your issues stay on top of the Council Agenda.
