Full statement
Together we have seen many fantastic achievements.
Now, I want to bring my ‘getting the job done’ energy, enthusiasm and determination to Countesthorpe, Cosby and South Whetstone as your County Councillor.
I was born and raised in South Leicestershire. My parents instilled in me a strong work ethic. After completing my Business and Finance degree at De Montfort University, I was an apprentice in the late ‘90s working for Premier Percussion, based in South Wigston, and 16 years later became their Operations Director. Since 2008, I’ve run my own business providing Business Consultancy and IT Support for many large manufacturing companies. I now live with my wife and two teenage children who attend Countesthorpe Academy.
In May 2019 I was elected as district councillor for Blaby South. I’m proud to say, since then, I’ve made an impact within our local community by raising residents’ concerns and delivering effective and innovative solutions as quickly as possible. I have a passion for problem solving and am renowned for speaking my mind and not being afraid to make our voice heard. I am also involved with organising the Glastonblaby charity music festival and litter picking with the South Leicestershire Litter wombles.
