Statement to voters

I have been a community campaigner for 32 years, I am not a career politician, I have almost been homeless and had to survive of Universal Credit when I was made redundant.

The Westminster Elite have no desire to represent the people. If elected I would;

• Build homes for local people and not only students • Stop HMO’s in Wavertree • Build affordable housing • Fund Sure start Centres, Libraries and breakfast and meal hubs • Introduce more NHS Dentists in Wavertree • Stop illegal fly tipping and dog fouling with big fines • Create business and Enterprise zones for the local self employed • Stop the GIG economy and make big business pay a living wage • More police on the beat • Make NHS car parks free for staff and disabled patients

What I have done for Wavertree so far;

• Contributed to food parcels and food banks • A recycling scheme for household goods, furniture and clothes • Supported the homeless and homeless veterans • Supported vulnerable adults and young people with support work • Litter picks and graffiti removal, funded across Wavertree • Community Patrols reporting street issues, ASB and working with the Police to ensure Wavertree is safe. • Successfully ran free gardening and rubbish removal in Wavertree. • Recycled 3 tonnes of plastic, 4 tonnes of cardboard, 15 tonnes of surplus food and scrap metal for local people and local funding
