Full statement

Together, we can ensure continued progress and deliver even more. My years as an NHS worker have opened my eyes to the strength of communities, but also to the struggles faced by many. I see the impacta of illness, hardship, and everyday challenges on the people I work with and the patients I see walk through the door. Being a carer myself, In understand the strain of balancing personal difficulties with helping others. It highlights how important it is for our community to have support systems, resources to cope, and the use of great open spaces that are vital in aiding mental health. This is what drives me to do the very best, for all residents. A vote for me is a vote for someone who will: Protect our open spaces that enhance the quality of life for all that use them, Work with the Police to make our communities a safe space for all, with a zero-tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour, Support charities and community outreach programmes. I have a strong track record of delivery for residents, and I want to use this knowledge and experience to help our communities fulfil their potential. My time as a Councillor in Warwickshire focused on proactive leadership. We transformed our streets, tackling overflowing bins and graffiti. We invested in our future with record funding for play areas, all while prioritising responsible budgeting to minimise council tax. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with any issues that matter to you. Send me an email at brett@localconservatives.org.uk and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
