I am proud to live in Huntingdon and work for my not-for-profit company alongside being a Cambridgeshire County Councillor.

I experience every day the issues residents care about, from the rising cost of housing, to being on a multiple year NHS waiting list and the decline of our public transport, especially our rural buses.
Politics in Huntingdon is changing. The Tories lost control of the County in 2021 and of Huntingdonshire District Council in 2022. We need a new hope for our towns, villages and hamlets in the Huntingdon constituency. But don't just hope for a better future - vote for one.

Alexandra Bulat is a Romanian-British county councillor of Cambridgeshire. She is the first English county councillor of Romanian background, elected in UK local elections on 6 May 2021. On 4 March 2024, she was announced as Labour's prospective parliamentary candidate for the Huntingdon constituency for the 2024 United Kingdom general election.
