Statement to voters

Honiton and Sidmouth is my home.

Full statement

My father is a local carpenter, running a well-known garage door business with my mother. I went to school in Honiton and Colyford, have worked in businesses in Honiton and Sidmouth, run a food organisation in Honiton, Beer and the Blackdowns, and have been a local Councillor. Now, I want to give back to the area that has provided me so much.

For far too long, the Conservatives have let our communities down. Time and again, the Tories have pursued their own interests. They've left the country worse off than when they started. If they get 5 more years in power, nothing will change. If elected, I will work tirelessly to ensure we are listened to and supported, working with my Labour colleagues to provide economic stability, cut NHS waiting times, recruit 6500 more teachers, and support the communities that I am so proud to call home.
