I stand for honesty, integrity and fairness. Lets show this Government and Labour that we the voters are sick and tired of the Corruption, Sleaze and the I am in it for myself attitude. I am a retired soldier who is taking on Northumberland constituency for the Local and General Election. I grew up in the village of Piercebridge in County Durham. I joined the Army in 1989 and was deployed to Germany where I married and had two children. During a 22-year career in the Services I served in Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Iraq, returning to England in 2009 as Regimental Company Quartermasters Sergeant (RCQMS) at Army Foundation College in Harrogate before leaving the Army in 2012. I was awarded The General Service Medal (GSM). I then married my former childhood sweetheart in 2013 who has two children. i moved to Northumberland over 4 years ago. I don’t think the Conservative MP or labour Councillor here represents the views of most local people, especially over Brexit. What we need is a strong local MP and Councillor who really understands the North East and the sort of issues facing people.
