After graduating in 2017, I moved to London and have been working in legal marketing ever since. I am now studying again and am due to graduate with a masters degree in Environment & Sustainability from Birkbeck in autumn 2022.

I believe passionately in the importance of personal access to political representatives. If elected as councillor, I would actively develop relationships with residents of the ward who need support, as well as operate a strictly open-door policy for all residents’ concerns.

Although I love living in this borough, I am concerned by the levels of poverty and inequality that persist in this area which is symbolically between the most affluent areas of the country - the City of London and Canary Wharf. I’m committed to doing everything in my power to redress these inequalities.

I also know that the climate crisis will only be tackled through action rather than words. While some action has already been taken in Tower Hamlets, I am excited to champion the broad support that exists in the borough for bolder action on climate change.”
