I am proud to both live and work in the City and I have a particularly close connection to Vintry ward, where I am the treasurer of our parish church of St James Garlickhythe: a role which brings me into contact with many local people and businesses.

I’m seeking election in order to be able to bring to bear my 18+ years of financial and professional services experience both in service of the City of London Corporation and to ensure the Corporation promotes and supports a pro-growth, pro-business environment, which is more important than ever.

I am Deputy Group Tax Director of a FTSE 100 business and I previously trained as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with a Big 4 accountancy firm based in the City.

I have extensive board and committee experience, including serving on several audit committees and chairing the Lord Mayor’s Briefing Group.

I am also committed to upholding the long-established and cherished political independence of the City of London Corporation, which enables it to work effectively with governments across the political spectrum - both at home and overseas, improves transparency and standards, and helps encourage good people to get involved.
