Statement to voters

Ian is a retired public sector worker who has lived with his family in Southend on Sea for 34 years.

Full statement

He is a longstanding campaigner in the community who will work hard as your councillor in representing your best interests. He will be a strong advocate for West Shoebury at the City Council.

On 2nd May the voters in both the City of Southend on Sea and West Shoebury ward have the chance to make a positive change. As local people we have been let down by The Conservatives for far too long. We only have to look at their broken promises on weekly bin collections, the Shoeburyness Thorpedene library threat of closure and the “managed decline” of our roads. Only Labour has a better plan for Southend, we can build a city that we all can be proud of.
