Statement to voters
I am keen to support our local community to develop their health and wellbeing – over the past months I have been able to focus on this for myself and I know how important it is for each of us to look after ourselves in order to be able to help others.
Full statement
I am very excited about community developments such as the re opening of the Pump house environment centre as a cafe and community space. Places such as this are vital in all parts of our city. I would like to introduce a mindfulness group for the local community along the lines of the Reiki and Meditation group which I currently run in Malvern.
I feel strongly about anything which may have an effect on our daily mental health and wellness such as litter, traffic pollution and the need for calming green spaces.
I feel there is more that can be done by Worcestershire County Council to foster these important issues and I will campaign to bring them to the forefront of our wellbeing agenda.
