I am not your typical councillor! With a degree in Environmental Science, I have worked all over the world and now, I am fully focused on protecting our local community, environment and biodiversity.

I am proud to call Pidley my home, having lived here since 2011 and dedicated myself to our community in every way possible. Over the years, I have served as a Trustee for Pidley Mountain Rescue, a Councillor and Chairman for Pidley-cum-Fenton Parish Council, and a Trustee for the Community Centre - pulling pints on a Friday night, until recently.

As a Huntingdonshire District Councillor for Warboys ward, I’ve worked hard to support flood-hit communities, backed the new Warboys Community Centre, and continuously fought for better roads, transport, and planning decisions that truly benefit local people.

With Steve Criswell (the current County Cllr) retiring after 18 years of dedicated service, I am ready to step up as your County Councillor on May 1st. My passion for our community drives me to fight for the issues that matter most—ensuring our villages get the investment, services and representation they deserve.

I never imagined myself in politics. Someone saw something in me and asked if I had thought about standing. Interestingly I said Yes!!

I will fight for what is right, and hopefully make a real difference in people's lives for the better.

I understand the frustrations and annoyances with central government politics and policies. County (and District) Councillors are very different to the majority of MPs, caring about their communities they represent, trying to do their best for their fellow neighbours.

Obviously our very own MP, Ben Obese-Jecty, is very different!
You can't miss his weekly Facebook video updates. Getting our communities mentioned and spoken about in Parliament. He's energy and love for the constituency is clear. He is leading from the front!

Remember, not so long ago Suffragettes put their lives on the line to give women the right to vote, some paying the ultimate sacrifice.
Wouldn't it be amazing if we could turn the tide on the numbers of people voting to more than 36%?
We could make history with the highest turn out in local elections for England!
Wouldn't it be fantastic if people used their right to vote - even if it's to spoil the ballot. It still gets recorded.

County elections are about who YOU think will do a GOOD job for YOU, your family and friends! This is grass roots levels. Delivering services for you. Getting a solution to Earith Causeway. Fighting for our farmers. Stronger flood resilience measures.

I look forward to meeting you, hearing your concerns and working together to make our area an even better place to live.

Together, we can build a stronger future for our community.
