Born and raised in central Brighton, over 500 years of family history in the Brighton area.
“Growing up and living in Brighton, I’ve watched the city decline as successive administrations have abandoned common sense, accountability, and responsibility often putting party loyalties ahead of the needs of our beloved city. Now is the time for change.”
* Increase rubbish collection and recycling * Reduce pollution & congestion by improving traffic flow & extending the park and ride scheme * Retain our lifeguards and our free public toilets * Identify council owned properties citywide and assign as affordable housing * Repair pavements, ban pavement parking & fix pot holes * Protect, enhance and invest in our ward’s green spaces * Freeze parking charges for residents * Free buses for residents in full time education * Ensure cleaner streets, more litter bins, combat graffiti, increase street cleaners and remove derelict phone boxes * Cap councillor expenses & end excessive spending * Stop the redirection of buses from Western Rd. * License landlords to protect tenants & regulate HMOs * Make the i360 profitable, redevelop Pool Valley, save Imperial Arcade * Rejuvenate the city centre & seafront area * Keep the beaches and our seas safe and clean * Adopt a prevention, intervention & recovery strategy to combat rough sleeping in the city
