Steve has lived in Stratford since 2005, having moved here from Alcester.

A teacher
by profession, Steve retired in 2023 from Stratford School and has held a variety of
Assistant Principal and Lead Practitioner roles in education.
A keen sportsman, Steve took part in badminton and athletics at County level
when younger, played rugby at various levels, and is now an enthusiastic cyclist.
He volunteered with the Samaritans for six years and was Director of Training in charge of training the volunteers.
Steve and his wife live in the town and having now retired he is keen to make a further contribution to the community.

COUNTY INFRASTRUCTURE IS VITAL
He was elected to the Town Council last year and has been working with Jenny Fradgley to understand local issues and meet local people.
‘For too long, we’ve had leadership at the County Council that hasn’t delivered the
infrastructure South Warwickshire needs.
With the government set on pushing through as much house building as they can, it’s
crucial for the future of our town that we have a County Council that will pay proper
attention to the roads, schools and medical facilities in the town’, commented Steve.
